One more person to love, US singer Ciara announces fifth pregnancy

US singer Ciara is expecting her fifth child, expanding her family with husband Russell Wilson.
The 40-year-old Grammy-winning singer and Wilson announced the pregnancy in a joint Instagram post on their accounts, #Ciara and #DangeRussWilson, on Sunday, sharing photos and videos showing her baby bump.
“One more person to Love,” the couple captioned the post.
In the announcement, Ciara and Wilson posed outside alongside four shirts hanging on a clothesline, with a blank baby onesie representing the newest addition to their family.
They also posed together holding up five fingers, a nod to baby No. 5.
Ciara and Wilson are parents to daughters Sienna Princess and Amora Princess, and son Win Harrison.
Ciara also has a son, Future Zahir, from a previous relationship with rapper Future.
The Times of India on Monday reported that the announcement comes as Ciara continues to balance motherhood with her music career, recalling her experience of taking her children on tour.
“My kids travelled with me, and I couldn’t have done it any other way,” Ciara told PEOPLE in 2024, according to The Times of India.
She also said, “It was the most amazing time with my babies. I was like, ‘This is what life is about.’ So, the little joys in life. I’m so grateful.”
Ciara and Wilson married in 2016 and have since built a blended family.
The forthcoming baby will be Ciara’s fifth child and her fourth with Wilson.
Wilson, 37, is a former NFL quarterback who announced his retirement from professional football in June after a 14-season career.
The couple’s announcement was shared jointly on Instagram, where they celebrated the impending arrival with the caption, “One more person to Love.”
