Kano APC rally: Ahmed Bala hails TSG, Faleke, says four years not enough to consolidate Tinubu’s reforms

The Director-General of Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, Ahmed Bala, has commended the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) and its leadership over the massive rally in Kano, describing the turnout as a powerful demonstration of growing grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda.

Bala particularly applauded Rt. Hon. James Faleke for his leadership and commitment to sustaining the TSG mobilisation machinery, while congratulating coordinators, stakeholders and the entire TSG family for what he described as an impressive show of political organisation and solidarity.

He said the success of the Kano rally should be seen beyond the activities of one support group, stressing that every organisation genuinely working to mobilise Nigerians behind the President is contributing to a larger national movement.

Bala, alongside the Deputy Director-General of Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria and veteran Nollywood actor, Mr. Zack Orji, noted that groups such as Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, the City Boy Movement, TSG and several other pro-Tinubu organisations have continued to take the message of the administration directly to Nigerians at the grassroots.

According to the DG, the task before the support groups is not merely to campaign for President Tinubu but to explain his policies, acknowledge the difficulties Nigerians are experiencing and demonstrate why the reforms being undertaken today are important to the country’s long-term economic stability.

“We sincerely congratulate Rt. Hon. James Faleke, the leadership of TSG and the entire TSG family for the massive mobilisation witnessed in Kano. This is the kind of grassroots engagement required to take the Renewed Hope message directly to the people.

“Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria has equally been on the ground, moving across communities and engaging Nigerians. The City Boy Movement and several other support groups are doing the same. We may operate through different platforms, but we share a common objective: to ensure Nigerians understand where the country is coming from, what President Tinubu is doing and where these reforms are taking Nigeria,” Bala said.

He maintained that some of the administration’s decisions have been difficult but argued that fundamental economic restructuring inevitably requires time before its full benefits become visible across households and businesses.

Bala pointed to the administration’s major infrastructure drive, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway, alongside the reconstruction and rehabilitation of strategic federal roads across the six geopolitical zones.

He also highlighted the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which has opened access to tertiary education financing for Nigerian students; investments in primary healthcare; housing programmes; reforms in the oil and gas sector; power-sector interventions; agricultural initiatives and efforts to improve Nigeria’s fiscal position and investment environment.

According to him, these initiatives represent projects and reforms whose full impact cannot reasonably be measured within a single four-year presidential term.

“Four years is simply not enough to consolidate the scale of reforms President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has initiated. You cannot undertake this level of economic restructuring, rebuild critical infrastructure, reform education financing, expand healthcare and reposition key sectors of the economy and expect everything to mature within four years.

“The foundation has been laid. What Nigeria needs is continuity and consolidation. President Tinubu should be given the opportunity beyond 2027 to complete what he has started and allow Nigerians to reap the full benefits of these reforms,” Bala stated.

He added that the argument for continuity must be anchored on verifiable achievements rather than slogans, urging support groups to continue taking evidence of completed and ongoing federal projects directly to Nigerians.

Bala further stressed that the administration must continue listening to Nigerians and intensify interventions capable of easing the immediate economic pressures facing households while pursuing the broader reforms required to strengthen the economy.

He described the Kano rally as evidence of what can be achieved when political organisations invest in grassroots engagement and thanked TSG members who travelled from different parts of the country to participate.

“The TSG family has demonstrated commitment, organisation and capacity. We salute every coordinator, every member and every Nigerian who came out in Kano.

“We particularly commend Rt. Hon. James Faleke and the leadership of TSG for keeping this mobilisation alive. Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria identifies with this achievement because the success of one genuine support group strengthens the collective effort of all of us working for the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Our message as we move towards 2027 is straightforward: allow the reforms to mature, allow the projects to be completed and allow the rebuilding of Nigeria to continue,” Bala said.

The Relax Nigeria DG therefore called for greater cooperation among the various support groups working for the President, saying unity, grassroots engagement and effective communication of the administration’s achievements would be critical as the country approaches the 2027 general elections.
