VeryDarkMan fulfils $50,000 promise as talented boy he vowed to sponsor secures China visa

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has shared an update on Martician, the talented Nigerian boy he previously promised to sponsor abroad, revealing that the young inventor has secured a visa to China.

Taking to his Instagram page, he disclosed the good news while recalling how he discovered Martician on Instagram on December 18 and became impressed by his creativity and ability to build different machines and other robotic inventions.

“Can you guys remember this boy? This is Martician. On the 18th of December, I posted him when I discovered him on Instagram. He’s a very creative guy.

“He does all these robotic, he builds different things, like washing machine and all. When I saw him online, I said, I was not going to let this boy’s talent go to waste,” he said.

He explained that he decided to sponsor the boy’s education abroad and budgeted $50,000 from money he personally received as a gift. According to him, Martician had spent about a month with them while they worked on securing his visa.

VeryDarkMan announced that Martician had finally obtained his China visa and would resume school on October 12, while he would cover his tuition, feeding, welfare and other expenses.

“As you can see, Darlington don get the China visa. He will be resuming on the 12th of October. All his schooling will be paid by me. I’ll pay everything, his welfare, his feeding, everything in school. All he has to do is study,” he added.

The development has attracted attention online, with many commending VeryDarkMan for following through on his promise.

VeryDarkMan also said he hopes Martician will eventually use his success to help other people, stressing that he wants the young man to pay the gesture forward in the future.
