Governor Nwifuru Commissions Projects In Ohaozara LG…

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru, has commissioned landmark infrastructural projects executed by the outgoing Chairman of Ohaozara Local Government Area, Chinonso Ajah.

The commissioning took place during the grand campaign flag-off for the local government council elections scheduled for August 22, 2026.

Governor Nwifuru, represented by the Deputy Governor, Patricia Obila, lauded Ajah for his visionary leadership and execution of high-impact signature projects that directly align with the state government’s agenda.

Presenting the official APC flag to the Chairmanship candidate, Osborn Umahi, and his running mate, the governor charged the electorate to vote massively for all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

The governor commended the Minister of Works, David Umahi, for making Ebonyi State proud through his national achievements, expressing absolute optimism that his son, will replicate his father’s legendary performance in public service.

Speaking at the rally, the state Chairman of the APC, Chief Stanley Emegha, represented by the Deputy Chairman, Alphonsus Nwali, expressed complete confidence that Ohaozara remains an opposition-free zone, urging the electorate to demonstrate their loyalty through an overwhelming turnout on election day.

The Chairman of Ohaozara Local Government Area, Chinonso Ajah, expressed gratitude to Governor Nwifuru for granting local government councils full administrative autonomy, noting that he is bowing out as a fulfilled administrator having delivered life-enriching projects to his people.

Accepting the party’s flag, the APC Chairmanship candidate, Osborn Umahi, thanked Governor Nwifuru, the APC leadership, and the people of the local government for their overwhelming support.

He promised a new era of rapid development and governance, pledging to hit the ground running immediately after his inauguration on September 1, 2026.

The projects commissioned include; Senator David Nweze Umahi Health Center in Mgbom Ugwulangwu, Odenigbo Regional Market in Okposi and Chioma Nweze Health Center, Mebi/Ameke Okposi, among others.
