“I would rather die than allow this case to die down”

Nigerian singer Shallipopi has intensified his call-out of music executive Dapper Damm amid the ongoing dispute over alleged unpaid earnings involving the former label boss and some of his artistes.

The singer returned to X with a series of posts challenging Dapper to meet him in person and address the allegations, insisting that he does not want the matter to be swept under the carpet.

‘Come Outside Right Now’

Shallipopi called on Dapper to face him directly, saying he was prepared to discuss the matter publicly.

He wrote:

“Once it’s a mistake. Two times is a coincidence. Three times its a pattern. Dapper, come outside right now.”

In another post, the singer said:

“I would rather d!e than allow this case to d!e down. Come out, let’s talk face to face.”

Shallipopi’s latest comments come shortly after Dapper responded to allegations from him, Seyi Vibez and other former artistes.

Shallipopi Says EFCC Has His Evidence

The singer also claimed that he had submitted evidence relating to the dispute to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He maintained that he wants the matter properly investigated and resolved through the appropriate authorities rather than allowing the controversy to remain a social media argument.

Singer Claims Other Artistes Have Similar Complaints

Shallipopi further alleged that he was not the only artiste with unresolved issues involving Dapper.

According to him, nearly 10 artistes have raised similar concerns about the music executive.

He also accused Dapper of avoiding him since 2024, suggesting that attempts to resolve the matter privately had not yielded the desired result.

Dapper Previously Responded to Allegations

Dapper recently broke his silence on the allegations, saying that records relating to the claims existed and were already with the relevant authorities.

He wrote:

“I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth.”

Dapper also accused his former artistes of spreading false narratives and insisted that nobody was forced to leave his label.
