A Nigerian lady has defended being corrected by her husband after admitting that she offended him, saying she has accepted the correction and would not repeat the behaviour.

The woman made the remark while reflecting on the incident and the lesson she learnt from her husband’s reaction.

According to her, the correction was not something she considered negative, as she recognised that her actions had offended her husband.

Lady explains why she accepted her husband’s correction

The woman said she had taken responsibility for her actions and was willing to ensure that the incident did not happen again.

She said, “There’s nothing bad about it. I offended my husband and he corrected me. I won’t do that again.”

She further stated, “It’s okay to be corrected.”

Her comments have drawn attention to the different ways couples handle disagreements and correction within marriage.

Her comments spark discussion about marriage

The lady’s perspective has prompted discussions about the importance of accountability and communication between married couples.

While some people may view correction differently depending on the circumstances, her comments centred on acknowledging when one has done something wrong and being willing to learn from it.

The incident has also highlighted the role of personal responsibility in relationships, particularly when disagreements arise between partners.

For the woman, accepting her husband’s correction was simply part of recognising her mistake and deciding not to repeat it.
