Ikhuiwu Charged Newly Promoted In God’s Vineyard To Guide, Protect And Lead The Flocks Rightly

The Spiritual Leader Chairman Church Council Christ Chosen of God International, Snr. Apostle (Dr) David Unuefe Ikhuiwu The Elect of God,
Delivering his Sermon at the Sunday Thanking Service at this Year 2026, Annual International Convention “NO STORM CAN SWALLOW THE BOAT” at the New Auditorium of Christ Chosen Church of God International Benin-Agbor Road Benin.
The Spiritual leader/Chairman Church Council of Christ’s Chosen Church of God int’l (CCCOGI) Snr. Apst. (Dr.) David Unuefe Ikhuiwu has charged newly promoted servants of God in his vineyard to guide, protect and lead the flocks rightly.
He gave the charge at the international headquarters of the Church venue for the 2026 annual international convention of the Church with the theme: “No Storm Can Swallow The Boat. Luke 8:22-24”.
Announcing the promotion of some members of the church to new positions, the spiritual leader of CCCOGI encouraged the affected officers to be diligent, focused and committed in their work in the vineyard of God Almighty and do away with the spirit of pride which will lead to their destruction.
Those promoted includes, 11 pastors to the position of Apostles, 12 from Senior Teachers to appointed pastors and five to Acting Divisional Heads in charge of various divisions of the Church while some others were also promoted to councillors.
Snr. Apst. (Dr.) David Unuefe Ikhuiwu said those promoted to the position of Apostle have served in the Church between 21 to 44 years as their commitment, courage to advance the kingdom of God has been rewarded, urging them never to relent but thrive more because the new position is a call to higher service.
He encouraged others never to allow the spirit of pride to take control of their lives because it will only lead them to destruction.
Delivering his sermon titled “Peace Be Still”, Snr. Apst. (Dr.) David Unuefe Ikhuiwu encouraged the congregation never to be afraid no matter the Storm of life, assuring them that no storm will collapse their boats of life.
He called on the church never to be troubled because of the challenges or conditions they are facing currently as God is capable of speaking to the wind and it will obey.
“Youth, men, women and the people of the State and Nigeria should hold their peace and never be troubled as Jesus is in the boat, I assure you that the wind will obey the voice of the Lord”.
