I even sacrificed my beard
An old video of Nigerian content creator Peller has resurfaced online amid a recent claim by a Babalowo that he helped the social media star achieve fame through traditional spiritual practices.
In the old footage, Peller spoke about the sacrifices he allegedly made in his pursuit of wealth and fame, asking his audience whether they were prepared to make similar sacrifices.
‘Are You Ready?’
In the video, Peller appeared to suggest that he knew a path to riches and fame but warned that it could require significant sacrifice.
“If I want to show you the way to riches and fame, are you ready? I’ll take you to one Baba.”
He repeatedly questioned whether those listening were mentally prepared for what he described as the sacrifices involved.
“Are you ready? Is your mind strong?”
“Are you ready? Can you sacrifice?”
‘I’ve Sacrificed a Lot for This Fame and Riches’
Peller went on to claim that he had made several sacrifices in his own pursuit of success.
“If you know what I sacrificed, una dey craze.”
He added:
“I’ve sacrificed a lot for this fame and riches.”
One of the sacrifices he specifically mentioned involved his beard.
‘I’ve Even Sacrificed My Beard’
Peller claimed that he had sacrificed his beard and would never grow one again.
“I’ve even sacrificed my beard. I can never grow a beard again for as long as I live.”
Video Resurfaces Amid Babalowo’s Claim
The old footage has attracted fresh attention after a Babalowo recently called out Peller, claiming that he helped the content creator become popular through “juju.”
The traditionalist alleged that Peller once visited his shrine, where he reportedly begged and cried for help.
“I did juju for you to make you blow.”
He further claimed that Peller had enjoyed fame for more than three years but had forgotten him.
The Babalowo also expressed anger at the content creator and warned him to return and “do the right thing.”
The resurfaced video has therefore sparked speculation among social media users, with some attempting to connect Peller’s old comments about sacrifice to the Babalowo’s recent allegations.
