“We have really tried” – BLord says those who built from scratch deserve a special place in heaven

Nigerian billionaire crypto entrepreneur Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord, has spoken about the challenges of building wealth without coming from a privileged background.
Blord made the remarks in a video shared online, where he reflected on the experiences of people who had to build their wealth from scratch.
‘Maximum Respect to Those Born With a Silver Spoon’
Blord began by acknowledging the advantage enjoyed by people whose parents had already established wealth for them.
“Maximum respect to those born with a silver spoon. Those wey be say their father don put everything in place for them. Na una luck, congratulations.”
He noted that such individuals often have a strong foundation to build on because their parents have already created opportunities and resources for them.
‘We Have Really Tried’
The businessman then spoke about those who had to start from the beginning without inherited wealth.
“But you people like us, wey be say na we start the foundation ourselves, God needs to give us our own special space in heaven because we have really tried.”
According to Blord, starting from scratch comes with its own difficulties because there is no existing foundation to rely on.
‘Even the Land Na We Buy Am Ourselves’
Blord illustrated the difference between inherited wealth and self-made success using a building analogy.
“There’s a difference between you that your papa don clear the ground for you, do foundation, even roof am for you. Everything don already dey ground.”
He added:
“But we? Even the land na we buy am ourselves, begin the foundation.”
Blord Prays for Those Without Silver Spoon
Blord also prayed for people who did not have wealthy parents to provide a head start.
“So to all my brothers wey dem no born with silver spoon, may God bless your hard work in Jesus name. Amen.”
He acknowledged the effort required to create wealth without an established family foundation.
‘I’m Still Building for My Children’
Blord said he remains focused on working and creating opportunities for his children.
“Today is Monday. I’m going to work. I’m still building for my children.”
“As dem no build for me, make I build for my children…”
