My reconciliation story helped 10 women restore their families – Poco Lee

Nollywood actress, politician and evangelist Tonto Dikeh has revealed that at least 10 women have reconciled with their partners after reaching out to her for guidance following her own reconciliation with her ex-husband.

Dikeh said hundreds of women contacted her asking how she learned to forgive, prompting her to personally reach out to some whose experiences mirrored hers.

According to her, the women have since found peace, healed from past hurts and begun healthy co-parenting, describing the development as evidence that God has turned her personal experience into a tool for restoration.

She also urged women struggling with bitterness to embrace forgiveness, stressing that forgiveness is primarily about freeing oneself from emotional pain rather than benefiting the person who caused the hurt.

“Ever since my reconciliation with my ex-husband, hundreds of women have reached out asking the same question: How did you learn to forgive?

“While I couldn’t reply to everyone, I reached out to those whose pain mirrored my own. Today, to the glory of God, at least 10 women have been reconciled, restoring peace, healing hearts, and stepping into healthy co-parenting.

“If you are carrying bitterness today, please hear this: Forgiveness is never for the person who hurt you; it is for you. It is the key to moving your life forward.

“True closure doesn’t come from people, it comes from God.”
