Cosmetic Surgery: Daniel Regha warns against body shaming after influencer Tiny’s demise

Nigerian social media commentator Daniel Regha has urged people to stop mocking men over the size of their genitals, warning that such ridicule can fuel insecurity and push some individuals into taking unnecessary risks.
Regha made the remarks while reacting to the death of Nigerian-British influencer Tiny, who reportedly died after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure in Thailand.
In a post on social media, Regha referenced a previous incident involving singer Davido and Wande Coal, where he noted that jokes and ridicule surrounding the subject had been treated as entertainment.
He argued that although such incidents may appear humorous, the underlying issue should not be overlooked.
“Might seem like funny news, however, it’s not; A lot of men get ridiculed for this, by both women, and their fellow men masked as a joke,” Regha wrote.
According to him, repeated ridicule can contribute to feelings of insecurity and may lead some men to undergo risky procedures or take other unnecessary measures to alter their bodies.
“This leads to insecurity and then some people start taking unnecessary risks to fix what shouldn’t have been a problem to begin with,” he added.
Regha summed by calling for greater self-acceptance, noting that individuals have no control over the physical characteristics they are born with.
“No-one created themselves, I just hope people learn to love and accept themselves more,” he wrote.
