Ladies raise alarm over alleged pregnancy scam involving UK-Based Nigerian man

A group of ladies have raised an alarm over an alleged plan by a woman in Abuja and her Nigerian lover to deceive her UK-based boyfriend over a pregnancy.

According to the ladies, the man, identified as Michael, is based in the United Kingdom and is reportedly planning to travel to Nigeria in October to formally meet his girlfriend Tolani’s family for their introduction.

They alleged that Tolani, who lives in Abuja, is currently pregnant for another man and that the pregnancy could allegedly be passed off as Michael’s when he returns to Nigeria.

The women claimed they uncovered the alleged plan after they went out to buy food and accidentally overheard Tolani having a conversation with the man they described as her Nigerian boyfriend.

According to their account, the conversation was held casually and was not particularly loud. They claimed Tolani told the man that she was pregnant, after which he allegedly asked whether she had informed Michael.

The ladies further alleged that the Nigerian man was aware of Michael’s existence, while Michael was allegedly unaware of the relationship between Tolani and the other man.

They subsequently issued a warning to the UK-based man, urging him to reconsider his planned trip to Nigeria until he verifies the circumstances surrounding the relationship and the reported pregnancy.

The claims have not been independently verified, and the identities of the individuals involved have not been established beyond the names provided in the account.

“If your name is Michael and you stay in the UK, and your girlfriend is Tolani who stays in Abuja. Tolani is fair and very busty. And you’re coming to Nigeria next month, October, to come and do introduction for Tolani, know that your girlfriend is pregnant for her Nigerian boyfriend.

They’re planning to pin the pregnancy on you because you’re coming back next month to do an introduction for her. How do we know this? We went to go and buy food. We heard her and her boyfriend talking. They were not really loud sha. They were just talking casually.

She was like, ‘Baby, I’m pregnant o.’

And the guy was like, ‘Ah, have you told Michael?’ The guy even knows about you but you don’t know about him. You better abort coming.”
