Nigerian socialite and businessman, Cubana Chief Priest, has criticised relationship content creator Solomon Buchi following the latter’s decision to report TikToker Peller to the Metropolitan Police over an alleged defamatory claim.
The controversy began after Peller accused a man identified only as “Mr Buchi” of allegedly sleeping with another man’s wife.
Although Peller did not mention Solomon Buchi’s surname in the accusation, Solomon subsequently identified himself as the person being referred to.
Reacting to the controversy, Solomon Buchi said the allegation was false and had seriously affected his mental health.
He disclosed that the situation had allegedly caused him to suffer a nervous breakdown, which he said had been documented by his general practitioner (GP). Solomon also stated that he had reported the matter to the Metropolitan Police, noting that Peller is currently in the United Kingdom.
Solomon wrote:
“Peller made a deeply damaging and false accusation that I cheated on my wife with another man’s wife. This allegation has severely affected my mental health and caused me to suffer a nervous breakdown, which has been documented by my GP. I have also reported the matter to the Metropolitan Police, as he is currently in the UK.”
Reacting to Solomon’s statement, Cubana Chief Priest appeared to dismiss the police report, accusing him of seeking attention and warning that lawyers would be sent after those involved.
In a post, he wrote:
“You no go fit do anything this one na content you still dey do, you dey find engagement. You know the rubbish wey you don talk about the boy & others you wan call police small yansh dey shake. I go send lawyers like shooters.”
