“If you say you love me, you’ll have to give me your last money” – Lady shares relationship expectations

A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after openly admitting that she is not the type of woman who pretends to be low maintenance in a relationship.

Speaking in a video shared online, the lady said she admires women who hardly ask their partners for money and always appear content with little, but confessed she does the complete opposite.

According to her, she enjoys ordering the most expensive meals whenever she goes on dates and has no problem asking her partner for large sums of money, insisting that love should involve giving and sharing.

In her words, she said:

“You will meet some girls, they will be so nice. They don’t want to ask you for money. They act contented. You take them out, they order little, little things. I envy those girls because I’m not one of them.

You meet me? Ah, I will spend your last money. When we go out, I will order for the most expensive thing. I will try new delicacies. I don’t ask for small money. Even if I have more money than you, bring your own. Shey you say you love me? Loving is giving. Loving is sharing.”

The lady further revealed that someone once complained she ordered too much during an outing, but she defended herself, saying she spends freely even when paying her own bills.

Her candid confession has since gone viral, with many social media users sharing mixed reactions over her views on dating and financial expectations.
