Gbenga Daniel Appoints Onadeko, Osisanya to Drive Gateway Front Foundation’s New Vision

Former Governor of Ogun State and Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, His Excellency The Senator, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has announced the appointment of Dr. Babatunde Onadeko as the Executive Secretary and Dr. Bankole Adegboyega Osisanya as the Chief Medical Consultant of the Gateway Front Foundation (GGF) as part of efforts to reposition the organisation for greater effectiveness and community impact.

The appointments were disclosed in a statement released on Saturday by the OGD Media Office, which described the move as a deliberate step towards reinforcing the Foundation’s leadership with accomplished professionals renowned for their integrity, competence, and dedication to public service.

Dr. Onadeko, an accomplished banking executive, brings a wealth of experience in finance, corporate governance, and strategic leadership. He previously served as the South-West Zonal Head of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) and holds a Master’s degree in Finance as well as a Doctorate in Business Administration from Babcock University. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Enterprise Risk Professionals, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors, and an alumnus of the London School of Business and Finance.

He also serves as a Non-Executive Director at Veritas Glanvills Pensions, where he has played significant roles in strengthening corporate governance and institutional development. His extensive professional background is expected to support the Foundation in achieving its long-term vision and strategic goals.

Also joining the Foundation’s leadership is renowned medical practitioner Dr. Bankole Adegboyega Osisanya, who assumes the position of Chief Medical Consultant. A native of Ijebu-Ode, Dr. Osisanya attended Ijebu Ode Grammar School and Igbobi College before studying Physiology at the University of Ibadan and obtaining his medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos.

With over 40 years of medical practice, he has served in several public health institutions, including State Hospital, Ijebu-Ode, General Hospital, Ibiade, and General Hospital, Ijebu-Ife. In 1990, he founded Ebun Ola Hospital, with branches in Ibiade and Ijebu Imusin.

His contributions extend beyond healthcare into public administration, having served as Supervisor for Health in Ijebu East Local Government and as a member of the Ogun State Hospitals Management Board. He currently oversees federal constituency activities across Ogun Waterside, Ijebu East, and Ijebu North Local Government Areas. Dr. Osisanya is also a distinguished traditional title holder, holding the titles of Bamisegun of Ibiade and Otunba Sobaloju of Ijebu Imusin.

Congratulating both appointees, Senator Gbenga Daniel expressed confidence in their ability to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to bear in advancing the Foundation’s humanitarian, healthcare, educational, and community development initiatives.
