Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Lere Olayinka, has mocked former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi over comments he made on how he would have responded to the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State if he were Nigeria’s president.

Obi made the remarks during a podcast interview while criticising the Federal Government’s handling of the kidnapping incident, arguing that the victims spent too much time in captivity before they were rescued.

According to the former Labour Party presidential candidate, he would have personally gone to the forest alongside security operatives to ensure the victims were brought out.
