The Electricity Company of Ghana has announced temporary power outages in parts of Accra West and the Western Region.
The outages will happen on Monday, September 7, 2026.
ECG said its engineers will undertake planned and emergency maintenance to improve electricity service.
The official notices show two outage periods.
Accra West Region
Power will go off from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The affected communities include:

Penny
Parts of Oyarifa
Vision Hospital
Kumsark Estate
Glefe
Wiaboman
Surrounding communities
Western Region
Power will go off from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The affected communities include:
Diaso
Modaso
New Obuasi
Agona Port
Denkyira Subin
Ankwaso
Juabo
Awaso
Sefwi Bekwai
Humjibre
Adjakaa Manso
Ntrentrenso
Paboase
Bosomioso
Ewiase
Surrounding communities
ECG advised customers in the listed locations to make the necessary arrangements before the outage begins.
The company apologised for the inconvenience.
