A Nigerian man has cried out over an alleged financial ordeal involving a Black American woman he reportedly met on TikTok.
The man said he initially told the woman that he was a footballer and asked for her assistance, but she allegedly explained that she was unemployed and facing financial difficulties with her family.
According to him, he began sending her money whenever he could, sometimes allegedly borrowing to support her after she claimed that she and her children had nothing to eat.
He said the woman later began asking him to send more money to facilitate her trip to Nigeria, allegedly claiming that she could not find work in the United States.

“This woman I wan show Una. She be black American. She and I meet for TikTok. So me and her come dey talk I tell her things about me say I be footballer say I want make she help me. So she come tell me say now she no get work. Say she and her family dey go through a lot. So I come say oya na maybe na my opportunity be this. Anything wey I get make I dey send the woman. If she later come get work everything go good for me. This woman go tell me say she and her children never chop. Naso I go send money give this woman even if na borrow I dey borrow. Na him this woman dey tell me say make I send her money make she come Nigeria say work no dey United States…..”
