Imisi’s public conduct sparks concern among fans

Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Opeyemi ‘Imisi’ Ayanwale, has come under increased scrutiny following two recent public appearances that generated widespread discussion on social media.

The reality star’s latest moment came on Wednesday at the Lagos premiere of Folagbade Banks’ movie, ‘A Mama Deola Wedding Story’, where a video of her appearing to disrupt an interview session by another former BBN housemate, Faith Adewale, and a guest.

Sharing a video of the incident on social media, Adewale added the caption, “You walked onto a set where I was interviewing people on live TV and chose to do this. Someday, people will realise you are the villain in our story.”

However, some of Imisi’s fans disputed Adewale’s claim, arguing that available footage suggested that he had invited her to join him.

The incident came weeks after another video of Imisi at Nollywood actors Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe’s triplets’ thanksgiving in Lekki went viral.

In some of the footage that went viral online, the reality star was seen dancing energetically in front of Fuji singer, K1 De Ultimate, who was serenading her by name.

The two incidents have prompted discussions among fans, with some questioning Imisi’s behaviour at public events and calling for an explanation.

Amid the growing conversation, Imisi addressed the speculation in an audio recording circulated on Instagram on Thursday.

In the recording, she denied consuming alcohol at the movie premiere and explained that her energetic behaviour was part of her personality.

She also stated that even when she drinks, she remains composed.

However, her explanation has not completely ended the debate, with social media users continuing to dissect videos from both events.

The latest controversy has also brought Imisi’s previous clash with Faith Adewale back into the spotlight.

The pair had a tense relationship during their time in the BBNaija house and were involved in a disagreement over a kerosene container during a dispute about cooking fuel.

With Imisi’s recent appearances generating considerable online attention, the reality star has found herself at the centre of another social media conversation almost a year after emerging as the winner of BBNaija Season 10.
