A group of men allegedly stole 105 kilograms of frozen chicken from a moving truck in Egypt.
The incident reportedly happened on August 25, 2026, along the Cairo-Ismailia Desert Road.
Footage reviewed by ibynews.com shows a turquoise pickup truck driving closely behind a refrigerated lorry.
One man stands on the pickup’s bonnet and opens the rear doors of the moving lorry.
He removes boxes from the truck and passes them to other men travelling in the pickup.
Reports said the refrigerated truck was carrying about four tonnes of poultry. The driver reportedly continued travelling without noticing the theft.
The video went viral before the transport company filed a complaint.
Egyptian media, citing the Interior Ministry, said investigators identified six suspects connected to the incident.
Police reportedly traced them to locations in Cairo and Qalyubia.
Authorities said the suspects fired at officers when police attempted to arrest them.
Three suspects were reportedly killed during the exchange of gunfire. Police arrested the remaining three.
Officers reportedly recovered the pickup truck, firearms and some of the stolen chicken.
The arrested suspects have not been convicted. The allegations against them remain subject to legal proceedings.
