In a now-viral Facebook post, the lady disclosed that she solely repaid the bride price paid in February 2020 to her ex-husband.

Identified as Ugwy Tessy on Facebook, her ex-husband declined a refund of her bride price from her parents, prompting her to transfer the money to him.
Alongside her post, she included a screenshot of a transaction receipt showing a ₦30,000 refund made on 09/09/2026.
