A young lady with a sizable nyash has been caught red-handed by CCTV cameras after she was recorded stealing a wig from a shop, in footage that has since surfaced online and left many social media users talking.
According to the video, the lady walked into the shop appearing to be an ordinary customer browsing through the wide selection of wigs on display. Unknown to her, however, the store’s surveillance camera was actively recording every move she made inside the shop.
At one point, she is seen picking up one of the wigs before quietly concealing it on her body, making quick adjustments to avoid drawing attention or suspicion from shop attendants.
Moments later, she calmly walked out of the store as though nothing out of the ordinary had happened, seemingly confident her actions had gone unnoticed.
It was only upon review of the CCTV recording that her actions were discovered, exposing what appeared to be a carefully calculated theft carried out in plain sight.
The footage has since been shared widely online, sparking conversations around shoplifting tactics and the growing importance of surveillance systems in helping shop owners protect their goods from theft.
It is not yet clear whether the shop owners have identified the lady or reported the incident to the police for further action.
