SALGA Youth Coalition Congratulates Acting Council Chairperson, Reaffirms Support for Gov. Diri and Deputy

The Sagbama Local Government Area (SALGA) Youth Coalition has congratulated the newly appointed Acting Chairman of Sagbama Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Diepreye Roseline Yankee-Robinson, describing her appointment as a demonstration of confidence in her leadership capacity and political experience.
In a statement signed by the leadership of the Coalition on August 19, 2026, the group expressed confidence in the ability of Mrs. Yankee-Robinson to provide effective leadership and steer the affairs of the council during her tenure.
“We congratulate Rt. Hon. Mrs. Diepreye Roseline Yankee-Robinson on her well-deserved appointment as Acting Chairman of Sagbama LGA. We wish her a successful tenure as she assumes the responsibility of steering the affairs of the council,” the Coalition stated.
The SALGA Youth Coalition also reaffirmed its unwavering support and loyalty to Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, his Deputy, Pst. Peter Pereotubo Akpe, PhD, and the Prosperity Administration.
According to the group, its continued support is rooted in the administration’s commitment to good governance, youth development and sustainable growth across the state.
The Coalition further pledged to maintain its partnership with the government in supporting programmes and policies designed to improve the welfare and prospects of young people, particularly in Sagbama LGA and Bayelsa State at large.
It called on youths in Sagbama to continue to support initiatives that promote peace, development, unity and progress in the local government and the state.
