#OsunDecides2026: Oyebamiji casts ballot, says everything under control

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, voted at his Ward 09, Unit 011, Ikire, in the Irewole Local Government Area at about 10:42am on Saturday.

His arrival at the polling unit was greeted with cheers from the large crowd of voters who were in the queue at the polling unit.

Oyebamiji, in a chat with journalists after casting his vote, expressed confidence in victory.

He said that the election had been peaceful so far, based on the reports he had received.

The APC candidate said, “From the reports I have gotten so far, everywhere is peaceful, and we hope it will continue like this.

“I expect that I am going to have the victory at the end of the day,” Oyebamiji said.

According to him, the process was peaceful, particularly at his polling unit in Ikire.

He said, “The INEC officials, security agencies and voters are present, and everything is under control.”
