“His side chick saved his life” – Charles Inojie shares how a man escaped plane crash after changing his flight plans

Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has shared a dramatic story about a married man who allegedly escaped a fatal plane crash after a last-minute decision involving his side chick.

Speaking on the BeerParlourTalkShow podcast, he explained that the man had travelled from Lagos to Abuja for a conference and planned to return home after the event.

However, before leaving Abuja, he reportedly spent time with a woman, and the encounter left her so impressed that she questioned what he had done differently.

“At some point she said, ‘Who are you? Go and ask my story. Anyone that knows me knows I’m bad, but you see this one that you did, no one has ever done it to me before. I use God beg you, this one no be food wey dem dey chop once,’” he said.

Inojie said the woman later followed the man to the airport and continued crying inside the taxi. The taxi driver noticed her distress and appealed to the man to listen to whatever she was asking of him.

The man eventually asked the driver to return to the hotel, where he spent more time with the woman. Later that evening, news broke that the plane he was supposed to board had crashed, killing everyone on board.

“When the guy now called his wife, she shouted, ‘Who be this? Ghost?’ He said, ‘I’m not a ghost. I didn’t board that plane,’” he added.

According to Inojie, the man later confessed everything to his wife, who was shocked by the revelation. She reportedly thanked the woman for unknowingly saving her husband’s life.

The wife was said to have later travelled with her children to visit the woman, taking gifts with her as a gesture of gratitude for what she believed was a miraculous intervention.
