EPL Table: Man City drop points after losing to Aston Villa

A brace from Nicolas Jackson ensured Aston Villa defeated Man City at Villa Park as Erling Haaland’s goal was not enough.
The outcome of the match ensured Man City failed to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
It was Man City’s first defeat in the Premier League this season as they had won all their matches before the Aston Villa match.
Enzo Maresca’s side currently sit at the top of the Premier League table with 21 points from eight games.
However, Arsenal could go level on points with Man City if they win their Premier League match against Everton later today.
