The family of Gyebi Juliana Serwaa, former Assistant Head Girl of Simms Senior High School, is celebrating after she posted an outstanding performance in the 2026 WASSCE, securing seven A1s and a single B2 across her eight subjects.
According to her results, Serwaa excelled across nearly every subject on her card, picking up excellent grades in Social Studies, English Language, Core Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Government, and Elective Mathematics.
Her only slight dip came in Integrated Science, where she still managed a commendable “very good” B2, rounding off what many are describing as a near-perfect academic showing.
Her parents, visibly overjoyed at the outcome, marked the achievement with an impromptu celebration at home, with a bottle of champagne popped in her honour while she remained dressed in her school uniform.
The spontaneous, joyful scene captured the pride many families across the country are currently expressing as WASSCE results continue rolling in for the 2026 batch of candidates.
Serwaa’s performance has since drawn admiration online, with well-wishers flooding social media to congratulate her and her family, many holding her up as an example of the rewards that come with academic discipline and hard work.
For a young woman who once served in student leadership as Assistant Head Girl, her results has now added academic distinction to a school journey already marked by responsibility and recognition among her peers.
