Ibiyeomie Rejects Offerings From Internet Fraudsters, Tells Them To Leave » Apples Bite Int’l Magazine

The founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has warned internet fraudsters, popularly known as “Yahoo Boys,” against bringing proceeds from their illicit activities into the church as offerings.

Ibiyeomie issued the warning during a church service, stressing that his church has no need for money obtained through internet fraud.

The cleric expressed concern that some internet fraudsters actively participate in church activities while continuing to defraud unsuspecting victims and remain comfortable with the proceeds of their crimes.

According to him, internet fraud amounts to stealing, regardless of how those involved attempt to justify or describe the practice.

He specifically directed fraudsters attending his church to take their offerings elsewhere, insisting that the source of the money matters more than the amount being donated.

“In this church, if you’re a Yahoo, you will go to another church and give your offering. I don’t care how much you have,” he said.

Ibiyeomie also recounted the case of a professor at Rivers State University who he claimed lost his savings after being defrauded and subsequently collapsed and died.

The pastor urged people who associate with internet fraudsters to distance themselves from the practice, emphasizing the consequences of benefiting from money obtained through deception.
