A Ghanaian mother has sparked concern after recording a video in which she allegedly threatened to poison her three children following a difficult situation with their father.
In the about six-minute video, the woman, who was speaking from her room, narrated that the man she has three children with had left her after a misunderstanding between them, leaving her alone to take care of the children.
She claimed she has no close family support, adding that her mother and brother went missing in 2012 and that she has since been living on her own.
According to her, the pressure of raising the children alone had become overwhelming, leading her to consider a tragic decision. She stated that she was thinking about poisoning the children so she could continue her life without the responsibility of caring for them.
The woman also indicated that she was not concerned about the consequences of making such statements, saying she was prepared for whatever outcome, including possible police action.
Her video has generated serious concern among viewers, with many calling for immediate intervention and support for both the mother and her children.
