Nigerian singer, Portable has stirred reactions online after releasing a new song seemingly inspired by reports of dancer Poco Lee’s arrest in the United Kingdom.

In the track, Portable sings, “Won ti grab Poco, for Obodo oyinbo, Ofi Agidi gba pata lowo oyinbo”, using the reported incident as the basis for a fresh musical jab at his former associate.

The lyrics have quickly attracted attention because of Portable and Poco Lee’s long history, which dates back to their collaboration on the hit song ZaZoo Zehh alongside Olamide. The 2021 record helped propel Portable into mainstream recognition.

Portable turns arrest into music

Portable’s latest move reflects his well-known tendency to turn trending controversies and personal experiences into music, often within a short period of time.

His relationship with Poco Lee has previously made headlines. Shortly after ZaZoo Zehh became a major hit, Portable publicly accused the dancer of taking money and credit connected to their collaboration.

However, the current claim about Poco Lee’s alleged arrest in the UK could not be independently verified from authoritative reports at the time of writing. It is therefore unclear what led to the reported encounter or whether any formal charges were involved.

Fans react to Portable’s latest move

The new song has nevertheless added another chapter to the long-running Portable-Poco Lee saga, with social media users focusing on the unusual speed with which the singer turned the incident into lyrics.

Poco Lee remains active in music, with his latest listed release, Opera Mini, released in June 2026.

For now, the reported arrest remains an allegation, while Portable’s song has ensured that the story continues to generate conversation online.
