Why I shaved off my hair

Popular content creator Jarvis has finally opened up on why she shaved off her hair ahead of her wedding, addressing the reactions and criticism that followed her bridal appearance.
In a video shared after her wedding, Jarvis said the decision had nothing to do with tribal or cultural reasons, but was made to achieve the perfect bridal look her stylist envisioned.
“I wanted my installation to hit”
According to Jarvis, her hairstylist advised her to shave her hair because of the difficulty of laying her natural hair properly.
She explained that her front hair had always made it difficult for frontal installations to sit neatly despite her stylists’ efforts.
She said:
“The wedding is finally over and I am so super happy. I’m proud of myself and my husband.
“For those of you that are complaining about me barbing my hair, talking tribalistic blah blah blah, shut up.
“I literally took down my hair because I wanted my installation to hit. That is what my hairstylist wanted.
“I have a stubborn hair, so most of my hair at my frontal have not been sitting pretty. Not because the stylists are not doing a good job. They are doing a good job. Just that my hair is stubborn.
“She literally took her time and told me, ‘Please Jarvis, can you do this?’ I was like, ‘Why not?’ It’s my wedding and I want to look pretty as a bride.”
She added that the decision paid off, saying she was pleased with how everything turned out on her wedding day.
“So that’s why I did that. And I know that yes, the whole installation hit.”
Jarvis appreciates wedding team
The content creator also expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to making her wedding memorable.
She thanked her stylist, makeup team and fashion designer for bringing out a side of her she never imagined.
Speaking about her wedding dress, she said:
“Ms. Prudence, you brought out the robo robo in me. I didn’t know that’s what they had planned out for me. I just saw my dress and I was like, seriously, thank you.”
“I’ll be in the movies acting like an AI robot”
Jarvis also spoke about her future ambitions, revealing that she hopes to pursue a career in acting while staying true to the AI robot character that made her famous.
She said:
“I’ll be in the movies acting like an AI robot that I am. That’s my dream. It’s still there, it’s expanding and it’s going to be the best and the greatest. Thank you all so much that came. I love all of you. Online presence, physical, everywhere. God bless you all.”
