The film also explores themes of hope, sacrifice and unity while incorporating music, fashion, language and tradition to highlight Nigeria’s cultural identity.

Akindele, who wrote, directed and produced the film, said The Four would explore relationships and experiences that audiences could connect with.

Speaking in an interview with BellaNaija uploaded on Monday, she said, “Audiences have grown with us over the years, and they expect stories that entertain while reflecting who we are.”

She added, “With The Four, we are exploring the relationships that shape us, challenge us and stay with us. I think audiences will find a part of themselves in this story.”
