Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has reacted to calls for him to comment on the ongoing issues surrounding music duo P-Square.

Portable, who appeared to distance himself from the family dispute involving Peter and Paul Okoye, questioned why people were tagging him to speak about the matter.

In a statement, the singer said his attention was currently focused on his international tour and urged people to discuss his career instead.

Portable says he is focused on his tour

Portable said he was travelling across different countries as part of his tour, mentioning Kenya, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Malaysia.

The controversial singer added that he would rather people focus on his own achievements, stressing that he considers himself a star.

Portable said, “I’m currently on a tour, from Kenya to UK to South Africa to Malaysia, let’s talk about me. I’m a star.”

He also appeared to dismiss the family dispute, referring to the people involved as “Judas Iscariot and his brothers”.

The singer’s comments have added another reaction to the growing public conversation around P-Square, with fans and social media users continuing to discuss the relationship between the famous brothers.

Portable, however, made it clear that he does not consider the family matter his responsibility and questioned why social media users were calling on him to intervene.

He said, “People are tagging me to say something about P Square, what’s my own with family matter?”

His comments have since drawn attention online, particularly because of his blunt response and decision to redirect the conversation towards his music career and international tour.
