Transfer: Julian Alvarez goes on strike to force Atletico Madrid exit

Atletico Madrid striker, Julian Alvarez, has gone on strike to force a move away from the LaLiga club.
Alvarez is the subject of interest from Barcelona and Arsenal this summer.
But Atletico have held firm and refused to negotiate for the Argentina international.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Alvarez will skip training in a bid to change the club’s stance.
Romano wrote on X: “EXCLUSIVE: Julián Álvarez has officially informed Atlético Madrid that he will NOT attend team training tomorrow morning!
“Understand the striker is absolutely furious after the club completely blocked his move to Barcelona. He has told the board directly that he wants to force an exit before the window closes.
“Diego Simeone’s stance remains the same: no sale. But the player has now decided to go on strike. Total rupture.”
