Mr. Real Defends Poco Lee, Recalls Alleged Rape…

Nigerian singer Mr. Real has come to the defence of dancer and entertainer, Poco Lee, amid unconfirmed reports alleging that he was arrested in the United Kingdom over a rape allegation.

The reports, which have circulated widely on social media, have not been independently confirmed by UK authorities or Poco Lee’s management.

Reacting to the controversy, Mr. Real said he was convinced that Poco Lee had done nothing wrong, drawing from what he described as his own experience with a similar allegation during a previous trip to the UK.

According to the singer, he once had an encounter with a woman who had been brought to his accommodation by a show promoter.

Mr. Real claimed that after spending time together, he went to his room with the woman and touched her cheek while complimenting her appearance.

He said the woman suddenly became upset and accused him of molesting her, leaving him confused about what had happened.

«“Immediately her countenance changed. She asked why was I touching her, what was I trying to do?”»

Mr. Real said the situation escalated when the woman allegedly smashed a small fan in his room before the show organiser intervened.

He claimed the promoter later informed him that the woman intended to report him to the police for allegedly attempting to rape her.

The singer further alleged that the woman demanded £10,000 to settle the matter and claimed he eventually surrendered the £5,000 he had been paid for his performance.

Mr. Real also alleged that some promoters collaborate with women to make false accusations against visiting artistes in order to pressure them into paying money.

Using his experience to caution other entertainers, he urged artistes travelling abroad to be more careful about the people they associate with and the situations they put themselves in.

He said celebrities should maintain clear boundaries, avoid compromising situations and be conscious of the potential consequences of private encounters.

Meanwhile, the allegations involving Poco Lee remain unconfirmed, and no verified information has been presented in the report establishing that he was arrested, charged or found guilty of any offence.

The development has continued to generate reactions online as fans await clarification from Poco Lee or his representatives.
