Keyamo Launches TV Campaign Series on Tinubu’s Aviation Reforms Ahead of 2027

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, has launched a television campaign series to promote the Tinubu administration’s achievements in the aviation sector as the 2027 presidential election draws near.
Titled “Tinubu Aviation Revolution Series,” the programme uses short television presentations to highlight the government’s aviation policies, infrastructure projects and efforts to turn the sector into a driver of economic growth.
Keyamo announced the initiative on his social media platforms after his appointment as Director of Air Transport Mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.
The series began airing on major television stations on November 1 and is expected to run until shortly before the election.
Aviation, the minister’s campaign suggests, is a strong pillar of the administration’s performance narrative because of its role in international trade, tourism, investment, job creation and economic connectivity.
Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the sector has pursued reforms and infrastructure upgrades spanning airport facilities, safety oversight, aircraft financing and international connectivity. The ongoing rehabilitation and modernisation of airports, together with measures to improve operational efficiency, are among the developments featured in the series.
The initiative also marks a sector-specific approach to political communication, inviting Nigerians to judge the administration’s record through an industry that directly affects business, travel and national competitiveness.
As preparations for the 2027 elections gather pace, the campaign raises a broader question for voters: how should an administration’s performance be measured, and how much weight should its achievements in key sectors carry in deciding the country’s political direction?
The administration’s record, the challenges that remain and its plans for the future are expected to shape the national conversation as Nigerians prepare to vote.
