A man has stirred widespread reactions on social media after publicly sharing a detailed list of qualities he does not want in a woman he intends to marry.

His post, which outlined 14 personal preferences, quickly attracted attention, with many internet users debating whether his expectations were realistic or overly selective.

The man wrote, “I want to get married but, I don’t want to marry an undergraduate, a single mother, a feminist, a lawyer, a woman who believes in 50/50, a woman who cannot cook, a woman who has never dated a Yahoo boy, a woman who has never had an abortion, a woman who does not believe in God, a woman who worships her pastor, a woman who uses or supports sex toys, a woman who smokes, a woman with septum piercings, or a woman born before 2001.”

Mixed opinions trail marriage preferences

He concluded his post by asking, “Do you think I will find a wife?”

The list has since generated intense discussions across social media platforms, with users offering differing views on his expectations.

While some argued that everyone has the right to choose a partner based on personal values and preferences, others questioned the apparent contradictions in some of the conditions he listed.

Social media users react

The post has continued to circulate widely, attracting thousands of comments from people sharing their opinions on modern relationships, marriage standards and compatibility.

Although many users disagreed with parts of the man’s list, others maintained that finding a spouse ultimately depends on meeting someone whose beliefs and lifestyle align with one’s personal expectations.
