NAF Boosts Frontline Survivability With Combat Life Saver Training

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says it has strengthened frontline survivability and operational readiness following the successful completion of a Combat Life Saver Course for instructors at the Regiment Training Centre (RTC).

The training was designed to equip RTC instructors with advanced lifesaving skills to provide immediate medical care to wounded personnel during combat operations before evacuation to higher-level medical facilities.

The NAF said the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to improve force protection and ensure personnel are better prepared to respond to battlefield emergencies.

According to the service, the newly trained instructors will transfer the knowledge and skills acquired during the course to other personnel, helping to build a wider pool of combat life savers across the force.

The Air Force said enhancing the medical preparedness of frontline troops remains critical to improving operational effectiveness and increasing the chances of survival for injured personnel during military operations.
