CDCFIB Recruitment Nears Conclusion, Candidates To Get Updates Within Four Weeks

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that its ongoing recruitment exercise has entered the final stages, with the process expected to be completed within four weeks.
The Board, in a statement signed by its Secretary, Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) A. M. Jibril, on Friday, August 21, 2026, acknowledged the high level of anticipation among applicants awaiting the outcome of the recruitment exercise.
According to the CDCFIB, the large number of applications received from across the country has made it necessary to ensure that the selection process is comprehensive, fair and transparent.
The Board said it would not rush the exercise, stressing that the recruitment must comply with the principles of justice, merit, federal character and due process, while also taking into account the operational requirements of the four security services under its supervision.
“The recruitment process has taken place, and it has now reached its last stages, which will be completed within four weeks,” the Board said.
