30 Killed in Fresh Kaduna Attack as Residents Demand Better Security

Fresh tragedy has struck Kaduna State after gunmen attacked Naridon community in Kaura Local Government Area, killing at least 30 people. The attack happened late at night, leaving several others injured while many residents fled for safety. According to locals, this is the second major attack on the same community in recent years. 

Residents say the attackers arrived in large numbers and opened fire indiscriminately. Families have been left mourning their loved ones, while community leaders criticized what they described as inadequate security despite previous warnings of possible attacks. 

Security agencies are expected to investigate the incident, although no group has officially claimed responsibility. Similar attacks in northwestern Nigeria are often linked to armed bandit groups operating across the region. 

Many Nigerians have reacted with sadness on social media, calling on the Federal Government to strengthen security in vulnerable communities. As investigations continue, residents hope those behind the attack will be brought to justice and that lasting peace will return to the area.
