Intelligence Reports Warn of Armed Fulani Militia Movement Toward Benue State 

TruthNigeria has received intelligence reports indicating a mass movement of armed Fulani Ethnic Militia (FEM) from Nasarawa State toward neighboring Benue State on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

TruthNigeria expects coordinated attacks on rural communities within 72 hours.

Approximately 85 armed Fulani terrorists, traveling on about 43 motorcycles, were sighted passing through Doma town in Doma County (Local Government Area) before moving through Ondoli and Rukubi communities in Nasarawa State. 

The convoy was reportedly heading toward the riverine communities of Achepe, Olegokeme and Kwatan-Bala in the Ekye Development Area, from where they are believed to be planning to cross the River Benue into rural communities in Benue State.

 In addition, large trucks and trailers have been transporting armed Fulani Militia from Nigeria’s Northwest region and dropping them in forested areas along the Agatu–Apa, Adoka–Otukpo and Adoka–Naka roads.

The reported deployments are believed to be part of preparations for coordinated attacks. 

Communities considered to be at heightened risk include the following rural areas in Agatu,:

Apa,

Ohimini, 

Makurdi,

 Otukpo, 

Guma,

 Gwer West

and Gwer East local government areas. 

Additional intelligence also indicates that more Fulani are expected to arrive in Nasarawa State later on July 29.
