“May his line continue” – Late Alex Ekubo’s wife reportedly pregnant

Fresh reports have emerged online, revealing that the wife of late Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo, Anwuli Amakom Ekubo, is reportedly expecting a child.

The claim surfaced during funeral activities held in the actor’s hometown in Arochukwu, Abia State.

Traditional Ruler Mentions Pregnancy During Prayer

According to reports, the actor’s remains were taken through parts of his hometown ahead of his funeral rites and made a stop at the palace of the traditional ruler of Arochukwu.

During prayers offered for the late actor, the monarch reportedly prayed that Alex’s family line would continue and mentioned receiving information that the actor’s wife was pregnant.

He also offered prayers for the unborn child and expressed hope that the child would achieve greater accomplishments in the future.

Claim Yet to Be Confirmed

At the time of reporting, there has been no official confirmation from the late actor’s family regarding the pregnancy claim.

However, the comments made during the prayer session have sparked discussions online, with many people expressing hope and offering prayers for the family.

Wife Drew Public Attention During Memorial Events

Public attention had recently shifted to Alex Ekubo’s wife after details about her became widely discussed during memorial activities held in honour of the actor.

Reports identified her as Anwuli Amakom Ekubo, an executive in Nigeria’s energy sector.

During a service of songs held in memory of the actor, prayers were also offered for her wellbeing and strength as she mourns her husband.
