EFCC Declares Isaac Chinyere Mbalaso Wanted Over Alleged Fraud Offences

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Isaac Chinyere Mbalaso, 41, wanted over alleged financial offences.
The Commission made the declaration in a public notice issued on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, and signed by its Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale.
According to the EFCC, Mbalaso is wanted in connection with allegations of criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust and obtaining money under false pretence.
The Commission identified Mbalaso as an indigene of Aba, Abia State, and gave his last known address as 11th Avenue, Prince and Princess Estate, Kaura District, Abuja.
However, the EFCC did not disclose further details about the alleged offences, the amount of money involved or the identity of the complainants.
The anti-graft agency urged anyone with information that could assist in locating Mbalaso to contact its offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja.
Information can also be provided through 08093322644, [email protected], the nearest police station or any other security agency.
The EFCC urged members of the public to assist in providing relevant information on the whereabouts of the wanted suspect.
