Ballon d’Or 2026: It’s clear – Ukraine’s Andriy Lunin names player to win award

Ukraine goalkeeper, Andriy Lunin has named Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappe as the player to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
According to Lunin, it is clear that the France captain is the best player and deserves to win the Ballon d’Or.
Lunin, who is Mbappe’s teammate at Real Madrid, said, as quoted by Madrid Xtra via El Chiringuito TV: “Ballon d’Or? For me, it’s clear, Kylian Mbappe is the best.”
Mbappe will face strong competition from Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane for the Ballon d’Or.
The France international won the Golden Boot award after finishing as the top scorer at the 2026 World Cup.
