Also present were Senator Yinusa Akintunde, who represents Oyo Central Senatorial District, and the Oyo State APC Chairman, Moses Alake.

Members of the Olubadan-in-Council were also in attendance during the visit, which brought together political leaders and traditional stakeholders in Ibadan.

The meeting comes as political parties and their leaders intensify consultations, strategic engagements and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The APC is seeking another term for President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima, with party leaders continuing engagements with influential figures and stakeholders across the country as preparations for the elections gather momentum.

Although details of the discussions between the campaign council and the Olubadan were not disclosed, the visit highlights the importance political parties attach to traditional institutions and their role in engaging communities ahead of major elections.
