You Inspire Nigerian Women: Betta Edu celebrates Oluremi Tinubu At 66

Director of Women Mobilisation of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Dr Betta Edu, has celebrated Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, describing her as an example of courage, resilience and public service.

In a tribute issued on behalf of the APC Women Mobilisation Directorate, Edu said the First Lady’s journey had opened conversations about the role and possibilities of women in national development.

Edu said Oluremi Tinubu’s influence extended beyond her official position, noting that her leadership had encouraged women to pursue their aspirations while contributing to their communities.

“Your Excellency, today I celebrate the woman behind the office—the woman whose quiet determination, resilience and deep concern for people have left an impression on countless lives,” Edu said.

She added that the First Lady’s journey demonstrated that influence was not measured only by positions held, but also by the confidence and opportunities created for others.

“For Nigerian women, your story is a powerful reminder that we can carry our responsibilities with conviction, pursue our aspirations without restraint, and remain committed to lifting our communities.”

Edu prayed for God’s continued protection and guidance for the First Lady and her family, while wishing her many more years of service.

“Happy birthday, Your Excellency. May this new chapter bring you deeper fulfilment, enduring joy and the satisfaction of seeing many more Nigerian women rise into their own strength.”

The APC women’s mobilisation directorate also expressed appreciation to the First Lady for the example she continues to provide and wished her a memorable 66th birthday.
