“I sold my land to open this business, I’m doomed” – Man cries out after thieves loot his gadget store in Osun

A Nigerian businessman has cried out for help after his phone and gadget store in Ijesha, Osun State, was reportedly broken into and looted by thieves.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he disclosed that millions of naira worth of investments and electronic devices were stolen and explained that the shop represented his major source livelihood.
According to him, he received a call in the middle of the night informing him that his store had been looted, despite leaving the premises around 7pm the previous day.
He revealed that he had invested heavily in securing the business, including spending more than ₦3 million to build a bunker after becoming concerned about the increasing cases of break-ins.
In his words in part, he said:
“I’m finished; my life is ruined. My whole life is gone. All my investments, millions gone. Phones, laptops, gadgets and other electronic devices were all stolen.
I have a bunker, they broke it. I was called in the middle of the night that my shop was looted. This is my life, the only thing I rely on. People that know me know that I sold my land and even properties I had owned five years ago to open this business. I’m doomed. Nigerians, please come to my rescue.”
The businessman explained that the incident has left him devastated because the business was built from years of personal sacrifice.
His emotional appeal has drawn attention online as he seeks support from Nigerians to recover from the loss and rebuild his business.
