Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 housemate, Nomy, has been disqualified from the Show Ya Sef house after repeatedly defying Big Brother’s instructions.
The development was announced by the official BBNaija Instagram account on Monday, September 7, 2026.
Nomy was ordered to leave the house after she refused to wear the ‘benchwarmer’ outfit assigned to her as punishment for finishing last in the Head of House challenge.
The organisers said the decision followed repeated instances of Nomy’s defiance of Big Brother’s instructions.

“Nomy (@_officialnomy) has been disqualified from the Big Brother Naija Show Ya Sef house following repeated defiance of Big Brother’s instructions,” BBNaija stated.
According to the organisers, Big Brother subsequently revoked Nomy’s privilege to continue participating in the reality show and ordered her to leave the house.
“Big Brother revoked her privilege to participate in the game and gave her 30 minutes to gather her belongings and leave the house,” the organisers said.
The disqualification comes after previous warnings issued to Nomy over conduct considered contrary to the show’s guidelines.
Her exit reduces the number of housemates in the Season 11 house to 15, intensifying competition as the reality show moves towards its mid-season stage.
