Lafia Presidential Rally: RELAX DG Ahmed Bala leads members to campaign flag-off, highlights Tinubu’s North-Central projects

The Director-General of Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), Hon. Ahmed Bala, has led members of the organisation to Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, for the presidential campaign rally attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Speaking on the sidelines of the political gathering, Bala reiterated his organisation’s support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and its Renewed Hope Agenda, while highlighting federal infrastructure projects across North-Central Nigeria.
The RELAX DG identified the ongoing Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe-Biu-Maiduguri Superhighway as a major federal infrastructure undertaking, noting its potential to improve transportation, agricultural commerce and connectivity between North-Central and North-East Nigeria.
He also drew attention to the Abuja-Lokoja Expressway, the Lafia Bypass in Nasarawa State, the Makurdi-Otukpo-9th Mile Road, the Shendam Bridge in Plateau State and other federal infrastructure interventions across the region.
Bala maintained that road connectivity, agricultural development, educational opportunities and economic reforms should remain central issues in discussions about the administration’s performance.
He acknowledged the economic difficulties facing Nigerians and emphasised the importance of ensuring that ongoing government projects translate into tangible improvements in people’s daily lives.
The Director-General further described the North-Central geopolitical zone as an important agricultural, commercial and transportation corridor whose development is essential to Nigeria’s wider economic growth.
RTIFN, which describes itself as a sister organisation to the City Boy Movement, has been involved in public engagement, political mobilisation and advocacy concerning the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration.
Bala said the Lafia gathering provided another opportunity for political stakeholders, community leaders and citizens to examine the government’s record, discuss development priorities and participate peacefully in the democratic process.
The rally, attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, brought together political leaders and supporters as preparations continued for the 2027 general elections.
