Winners Chapel Founder Oyedepo Tells Tinubu: Act Now Or I’ll Pray Against You

Bishop David Oyedepo, General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, popularly known as Winners Chapel, has issued a stern warning to President Bola Tinubu over Nigeria’s worsening insecurity and economic hardship, threatening to pray against him if the government fails to act.
Oyedepo accused the Tinubu administration of failing to take decisive steps to address the challenges confronting Nigerians, according to NEWSNGR.
Speaking to his congregation, the clergyman condemned the persistent killings and attacks ravaging the country, warning that Nigerians who have endured the bloodshed for years may soon reach their breaking point.
While he criticised those behind the attacks on unarmed citizens, Oyedepo insisted that victims of such atrocities cannot be expected to sympathise with their attackers.
“The president needs to act now and stop pretending. You can’t slaughter members of my family and expect me to pray for you. I will pray against you and your household,” he said.
“The government is pretending like they don’t know what to do. I have been quiet for a long time, but the bubble is about to burst,” he added.
The cleric further accused the government of downplaying the severity of the security crisis, saying its leaders had failed to show the urgency needed to protect lives and restore public confidence.
